1. The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Godhead. Matthew 28:19.

2. The Holy Spirit is also know as God. Acts 5:3, 4.

3. The Holy Spirit also works to bring conviction to sinners. John 16:7, 8.

4. The repentant person receives the Holy Spirit at baptism. Acts 2:38.

5. The Holy Spirit is called our Comforter, and takes the place of Christ on earth. John 16:7, 13, 14; 14:26.

6. The Holy Spirit will abide in every believer until the end. John 14:17.

7. The Holy Spirit presents our petitions properly to God and makes intercession for us. Romans 8:26, 27.

8. We are told not to grieve the Holy Spirit, which seals us unto the day of redemption. Eph. 4:30

9. God the Father invites us to ask for the Spirit and He will give Him to us freely. Luke 11:13.

10. The Holy Spirit uplifts Jesus Christ in our lives. John 16:13, 14.
